We're expanding, and are looking for a passionate and experienced Associate Director to help lead our recovery & remediation team. Our recovery and remediation teams provide 24/7 threat monitoring and real-time threat intelligence, detect fraud, sabotage, malicious conduct, and security breaches. Our ideal candidate is one who can spearhead these efforts within a team environment, and help develop our constantly growing culture and vision.
Within this role, you will own recovery and remediation efforts, collaborate with a team of top-tier Cyber Security analysts, and iterate on incident response technological capabilities. Additionally, you will lead with high EQ, ethical integrity, and the ability to leverage your experiences into BreachQuest's long-term vision, understanding the importance of your role and putting our client’s interests first.
Who you are:
You have 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience; this can include recovery & remediation, DFIR engagements, or appropriate red/blue teaming experience.
You can articulate and distill complex DFIR problems and emergencies into concepts that are easily comprehensible for external stakeholders.
Passionate about being a vanguard of cybersecurity and has overseen multiple engagements or significant parts of large projects.
Jump into R&R engagements from day one and throughout the engagement lifecycle, providing crisis management capabilities and communication towards client/c-team, potentially leveraging other BQ services (including, but not limited to, opportunity identification in other recovery & remediation pipelines.
Highly responsive to all DFIR cases within BQ, working with DFIR teams & other stakeholders to populate the R&R pipeline.
Own the R&R delivery teams, driving both strategic vision and day-to-day operations.
Oversee and drive internal R&R service development, incorporating agile frameworks to ensure top recovery & remediation efficiency.
RP of the billing and invoice process on a month-to-month basis
Provide direction, development, and mentorship for BQ R&R delivery teams, with the goal of empowering and retaining a top-tier team of cyber professionals who deliver outstanding client service.
Work with RR senior members to define and execute short and long-term hiring roadmaps.
Acts as a role model for the R&R team, demonstrating collaboration, leadership, loyalty, excellence, agility, and respect (CLLEAR).
Supervision of multiple engagement delivery teams at any one time.
Hard Skills/Core Competencies
A bachelor’s degree.
Experienced with a variety of complex projects and possessing cybersecurity, forensics, or PM certifications (e.g. EnCE, CISSP, PMP, PRINCE2)
