We're expanding, and are looking for a motivated and methodical Analyst to assist in providing top-tier proactive service on our DFIR team. Our digital forensics services help detect fraud, sabotage, malicious conduct, and any security breach. We pair our responders with both cutting-edge and time-tested forensic techniques and investigative protocols. Our ideal candidate is one who can leverage their strong forensics knowledge, acting as a go-to during red team incident responses & blue team defense strategy, owning every step of the process along the way.

Within this role, you will work alongside the DFIR team lead, collaborate with a cohort of first-rate Cyber Security analysts, and provide internal incidents response and managed services using a suite of top-tier technological capabilities. Additionally, you will approach each incident with high EQ, professionality and composure, and the ability to rapidly adapt between the mindset of the investigator and the forensic analyst, understanding the importance of your role and putting our client’s interests first.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work alongside DFIR and MDR teams to conduct red team pentesting and blue team defensive strats
  • Collaborate with R&D and product stakeholders to refine BreachQuest's technology stack & offerings
  • Undertake forensic research on cyber-attack methodologies, tools, and techniques to create robust solutions that can be implemented into BQ software DevOps

Who you are:

  • You have a fascination with solving challenging cybersecurity problems
  • You have 3+ years owning technical security solutions, crisis management solutions, and working within red team/blue team capacities
  • You possess extraordinary research skills, and are able to collect and assess data from a variety of sources, while responding quickly and precisely to security threats.
  • Collaborative attitude, high humility and a willingness to approach incidents with a learning mindset
  • Understanding of cyber security terminology, trends, and innovation directions.

Hard Skills/Core Competencies

  • Programming knowledge (e.g. C++, Go, Java)
  • Scripting experience, knowledge of OS internals (e.g. Windows, Linux)
  • Commercial attack framework experience (e.g. Cobalt, Invicti suite, Metasploit, etc.)
